Research Background
5-Amino-1MQ has been studied in diet-induced-obese mouse models for its effect on intracellular NAD+ and SAM levels via NNMT inhibition, with reported effects on adipose metabolism and, separately, on skeletal-muscle stem cell proliferation in aged-muscle models. No human clinical data has been published to date.
